Fed/OSHA Hazard Communication Training
This online course provides an overview of the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration Hazard Communication Standard (29 Code of Federal Regulations 1910.1200) and how it aligns with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). This course includes; how chemical products are classified by the manufacturer, the container labeling requirements, and the important information found in Safety Data Sheets (SDSs). Students will also learn about their employer’s requirement to have a written Hazard Communication program, chemical inventory, and chemical/hazard-specific training.
Audience: Class is valuable for those responsible for developing and/or implementing a Hazard Communication Program and for employees to understand the Hazard Communication requirements.
