GENI’s network of professionals provides expertise in preparing noise analyses pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). This work includes evaluation of impacts from transportation noise, construction noise and mechanical noise. Once an impact is identified, we then develop recommendations for reasonable and feasible mitigation measures to meet existing standards and regulations.
Our network has many years of experience working with city planners, state and federal agencies and other regulatory stakeholders. We have worked with municipalities to draft Noise Elements and Ordinances and have assisted many applicants with interpreting and conforming to such regulations. Our staff is well versed in the nuances of building code and municipal ordinances and has an excellent reputation for assisting clients to resolve neighbor and community noise conflicts.
As part of our work, environmental noise monitoring is often needed so we have an extensive array of environmental noise monitoring equipment that can be located on site for a few hours or several years.
