Description
This training is intended to provide experienced miners the knowledge they need to face the safety and health hazards involved in underground mining. Participants will learn their rights and responsibilities, job related safety procedures and rescue and first aid techniques. Upon completion of this course, students will receive the MSHA 5000-23 form.

Site Specific Training
Task and hazard awareness training will not be included in the training session because of student diversity. The site-specific training must be conducted at the mine site according to the mine operator's training plan.
